LEARN HOW TO CAPTURE THE MILKY WAY

Agenda: 

1. Introduction and general instructions/ precautions
2. Equipment & Tools Setup
3. Introduction to the night skies objects and constellations / in real time
4. Shooting techniques and camera settings
5. Shooting the Milky Way Galactic Core
6. Different techniques and approaches for mixing the Milky way & the moon with landscapes.

 

What's required:

Camera & Tripod

GEAR:

1 - DSLR / Mirrorless Camera (interchangeable lens)

2 - a wide angle lens and/or (14,24,35,50,70,100,200)mm lens preferably with an aperture of F2.8 or lower

3 - a sturdy tripod

4 - fully charged battery + extra batteries + power banks

5 - head lamp(torch lights)

6 - Shutter release or an intervalometer will be very useful.

 

GENERAL REMARKS:

- Put on proper clothing / (full cloths including long sleeves / long pants / socks and sport shoes)

- Be mindful in using the torch light or flashlight as to not disturb the other photographers.

- Please make sure that your car has sufficient petrol – a full tank, ideally 

- Please observe social distancing

- Please bring your own refreshments and snacks

- other items: Chair , ID , Tissues , etc.
