Dubai Gold District Filmmaking Experience

This practical session is led by SATTAR WAHEED - https://www.instagram.com/sattarwaheed/?hl=en   he’s designed to help participants create cinematic stories from a real and constantly changing environment. From intricate shopfronts and reflective surfaces to narrow streets, traditional architecture, human interactions, and the rhythm of daily trade, the Gold District offers a rich setting for learning how to observe, frame, and build a story through moving images.

 

Participants will explore how to approach a location with intention, identify strong visual moments, and capture a variety of shots that work together as a complete sequence. The workshop will also focus on working with available light, camera movement, composition, pacing, and capturing authentic details that communicate a strong sense of place.

 

Rather than simply recording what is happening, participants will learn how to shape everyday scenes into a thoughtful and visually engaging short film.

This filmmaking experience is ideal for videographers, filmmakers, photographers, and content creators who want to strengthen their visual storytelling skills while exploring one of Dubai’s most dynamic and culturally rich districts.
