The Director's Cut: A Beginner's Guide to Filmmaking

Every great film begins with a story, a vision, and the ability to bring ideas to life through moving images. In this beginner-friendly workshop led by Direk Markus (UBE Production Film Director) https://www.instagram.com/ubeproduction/reels/, participants will explore the essential building blocks of filmmaking—from concept development and storytelling to camera techniques, composition, lighting, sound, and basic production workflows. Designed for aspiring filmmakers, content creators, photographers transitioning into video, and anyone interested in cinematic storytelling, this session provides a practical introduction to the creative and technical aspects of film production.

Through real-world examples and hands-on insights, attendees will gain a better understanding of how directors, cinematographers, and content creators transform ideas into engaging visual experiences.
